
Wanda Anderson is a thirty year marketing and advertising professional and freelance marketing consultant. Anderson currently owns W. And Company Marketing and co-owned AndersonLucas Advertising, Inc. (1993-2001) of which she was Executive Vice President. The agency’s forte is niche marketing. Specializing in the Hospitality and Tourism Industries, Multi-Cultural Marketing, and Small Business Development has gained Anderson national and international recognition and awards for excellence.
Anderson, a graduate of the University of Maryland, brings decades of communications, marketing, public relations, and media buying experience to the table. She added the hospitality and tourism industries to her credit after becoming Corporate Director of Marketing for one of the nation’s largest Hotel Management companies thus completing the flexible range of consulting services offered today by Anderson.
A native Washingtonian, (District of Columbia) Anderson was the first African-American to become a Media Director of a major advertising agency, Earle Palmer Brown in Washington DC. Top agency accounts were The Washington Bullets, The Washington Capitals, the Capitol Center and the Washington Post. She also worked for three television stations (CBS, Independent and PBS affiliates) producing on-air promotional announcements, PSA’s, fundraising segments and coordinated the station’s public relations efforts. She sold radio for the nation’s Capital’s first owned and operated Gospel station WYCB- AM which was managed by broadcast mogul Cathy Hughes of Radio & TV One. Anderson is also an accomplished independent Television producer.

In 2007 Black Meetings & Tourism Magazine named Wanda one of the top-ranking African Americans in Hospitality/Tourism, Public Relations and Advertising. She is a former advisory board member for Morris Brown College’s Hospitality Department, as well as, Hospitality Helping Hands and Atlanta Montessori Academy. She is a member of Georgia Association of Meeting Professionals International (GAMPI), the East Point Business Association, The South Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau (ACVB), the Asian-American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA) and is a Partner in Education with Tri-Cities High School in East Point, Georgia.
Wanda is a proud mother of Donnea and Donnell and grandmother of Jada Tarie, Amani Janae and Jason Bernard.
